On Thursday August 18th, the Fieldstream Village Project received unanimous approval from the Orange County Planning & Zoning Commission. Fieldstream Village was previously on the LPA Hearing Agenda on July 21. This meeting was cancelled due to the Planning & Zoning Commission lack of quorum. Fieldstream Village was moved to the LPA Meeting on August 18th at 1:45 pm.
On August 18th, the hearing schedule was delayed 3+ hours. Consequently, Orange County Staff indicated to MMI that the project would be moved to next month. At approximately 5:00 Land Use Attorney Jason Searl, from Gray Robinson, spoke with Orange County staff and they agreed to fit Fieldstream Village into the meeting. Orange County Staff presented their Staff Report and their recommendation to Adopt the proposed zoning change. The project received unanimous approval from the Planning & Zoning Commission.
The project will be scheduled to go in front of the Orange County Board of County Commissioners after MMI Development and Orange County finalize a number of PPP (Public Private Partnership) Term Sheets. These include the Road Term Sheet, Cleanup Term Sheet and TIF (Financing) Term Sheet.
